On January 21, 2023, AU sport teams led by A.Nukul Chaisuriya, Director of Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, AU sport teams leader together with 78 people in total consist of team mangers, coaches, athletes, physical therapists and staff arrived Udon Thani province safely. After checking-in process at the residence, AU athletes started practicing with the close supervision of the physical therapist team upon the besiktas escort sport science and physical therapy principles while the supporting team called for preparation meeting for all related tasks. On this occasion, A.Chukiat Kiatdherarat, a former Director, Center for Sports and Physical Fitness, visited AU sport teams in order to give moral support and advice during the meeting.
On January 22, 2023, at 9.00 a.m., Badminton was the first sport competition took place at Udon Thani Hall, the 4th floor of Central Plaza, Udon Thani.
