Panachai Jaijulla Wins First Bronze Medal in Taekwon-do Men's Kyourgi M-63 Kg. 🥋
Panachai Jaijulla, representing Assumption University, secured the first Bronze medal in the Men's Kyourgi M-63 Kg. category in Taekwon-do at the 49th University Games.
In an impressive display of skill and determination, Jaijulla navigated through a series of tough opponents. He started his journey by defeating a competitor from Kasetsart University with a convincing 2-0 victory in the round of 32. Advancing to the round of 16, he continued his winning streak by defeating an opponent from Kamphaeng Phet Rajabhat University with another 2-0 victory.
In the quarterfinals, Jaijulla faced a challenging match against a competitor from Chiang Mai University. After a tense battle, he emerged victorious with a close score of 2-1, securing his spot in the semifinals.
In the semifinals, Jaijulla faced off against a formidable opponent from Chulalongkorn University. Despite putting up a strong fight, he narrowly missed out on the gold medal, settling for the runner-up position after a hard-fought match that ended with a score of 1-2 in favor of his opponent.
Nevertheless, Jaijulla's outstanding performance throughout the tournament brought pride to Assumption University and the martial arts team.
